Is een gezellige openbare plek in het verbindingsblok. Iedereen is welkom om eens langs te komen voor info over het verbindingsblok of gewoon voor een kop koffie of later een fles bier. vrijdag: rond 19.00 uur benefit volxkeuken, lekker eten voor donatie. zaterdag: vanaf 15.00 dagkafe zondag: vanaf 19.00 uur filmavond. iedere week een andere interessante of leuke film en soep voor donatie. dinsdag: ABC infocafe met film/documentarie woensdag: dagcafe met lekker eten en weggeefwinkel Woonbibliotheek: In de bieb zijn boeken te vinden over huurrecht, huisvestingsbeleid, woonstrijd (kraken, buurt- en huuracties), ontwikkeling van stad en buurt en veel meer.
Er is al een interessante verzameling boeken. Maar het wordt nog veel interessanter wanneer de bieb gaat uitbreiden. Dus wanneer je boeken wilt doneren die in een woonbieb thuis horen. Kom ze dan brengen.
De boeken zijn nog niet om uit te lenen en naar huis mee te nemen. De woonbieb is op woensdagmiddag en zaterdagmiddag tijdens het dagkafé met thee en koffie in te kijken. |

“Zij die voor leven vechten, kunnen nooit dood genoemd worden.” “Those who struggle for life can never be called dead.” Last week Verbindingstraat 13 ground floor has been occupied as our new cinema, now the whole block is squatted. Now our squatting group has even more space to annoy the city council, irritate the cops and sabotage Eigen Haard. Currently Eigen Haard and their blue friends don’t dare to show their faces, so we continue preparing and organising. In the Eigenaardig café there will be the usual activities in the coming weekend.
Deze week is Verbindingstraat 13 hs gekraakt voor onze nieuwe bioscoop, nu is het hele blok gekraakt! Des te meer ruimte voor onzekraakgroep om het stadsdeel te klieren, de smeris te irriteren en Eigen Haard te dwarsbomen. En omdat Eigen Haard en hun blauwe vrienden zich nog steeds niet durven te laten zien, blijven wij ons voorbereiden en organiseren. In café Eigenaardig zijn de gewoonlijke activiteiten komend weekend. Friday 26th from 19:00: Anti-smeris-sticker-benefiet-voku! Yummie als altijd Sunday 28th from 19:00: Cinema & soup Rustenburgerstraat 160, Amsterdam VERBINDINGSBLOK NIET TE STOPPEN!!!! |

THE TAXI THIEF Jose R. develops a routine as a cab driver on the streets of Barcelona. His life would be the same as any other 52-year-old cab driver, if it weren’t for the fact that the taxis he drives are stolen. Jose steals to be able to work.
When police catct him and he loses the case, friend hides him from the arresting officers, first in his rented apartment and then in squatters' houses.

The Great Dictator (1940) The Great Dictator is a comedy film directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin. First released in October 1940, it was Chaplin's first true talking picture, and more importantly was the only major film of its period to bitterly satirise Nazism and Adolf Hitler, culminating in an overt political plea to defy fascism.

Documentary the yesman! Not to be confused with Jim carrey movie! A biting and revelatory documentary Dan Ollman and Sarah Price that follows a small group of
prankster-activists, as they gain worldwide notoriety for impersonating the World Trade
Organisation (WTO) and take on corporate greed across the world. The film begins with two
members of The Yes Men set up a website mimicking that of the WTO. When it’s mistaken for
the real thing, they play along with the ruse and soon find themselves invited to important
functions as WTO representatives. Delighted to represent the organisation they politically
oppose, they don thrift-store suits and set out to shock unwitting audiences with darkly comic
